For those of us who have got the DVD from Microsoft, Are we elegable for the RCI in August?...Or What happens then?...Can someone explain this to me please...

You will get the RC1 dvd. Please search this ng for "RC1" and you will see that this has been discussed in detail. It is also explained on the webpage where you ordered Beta 2.

That would give them 3 more months before RTM, but who really knows. I would guess even the programming team only has projections on an erasable flowchart at this point.

It will depend on when the team achieves the milestones needed to meet the specs they have set up for an RC release. You know, things like "No longer necessary to edit in Visual Notepad with whiteout."
